Always getting injured at gymnastics!?
Hi. I just started gymnastics about 6 months ago and I'm a level 2. I go on Wednesdays for 1 hour and I usually go to open gym for an hour and a half. My warm up consists of five laps around the floor, arm circles, touching my toes, straddles, bridges, pikes, and splits. Anyway my training is pretty easy. I do the basics on the 4 events plus the trampoline. Anyway when I get home I do some conditioning and more stretching to help with injuries. I have had so many injuries though. Pulled stomach muscles, arm muscles, leg muscles. I've even sprained my wrist and my neck. Don't worry I went to the doctor. Anyway I don't want to quit gymnastics. I love it but my mom said that if it happened again I'm taking a break for 2 to 3 weeks. What should I do?
