How can i get a private student loan with poor credit and no cosigner needed?

Im trying to go back to college. I filled out my fafsa and got the small amount that the government was willing to give me. (Believe me, I AM grateful.) However, I still require $28,000. I tried going through Sallie Mae again and the few in my family that were willing to cosign got denied. The rest, well, lets just say they couldn't care less. I have poor credit and many in my family do as well, hence the continued denials. And with no exaggeration, my brother is the culprit. Yes, for all of our poor credit. So, in conclusion, I NEED to go back to school. Its halting my progression in life, and i can't stop thinking about it. It is eating away at me... (I'd be nice if it literally was, I could use the weight loss.) Thanks for reading. Please help.
