What is a good book to critique for a government cl?

I need to critique a book of my choosing as an extra ignment that goes beyond the basic teachings of a US government cl. I need a book that pertains to government in an ytical way or comparative way to another form of government. The government chosen for the book's topic does not have to be the US's government or even a modern government. I would prefer some kind of ysis of governments in roman times but anything to get my search jump started would suffice.
