Does anyone know why some people ask such inane (stupid) questions on this forum?

I mean REALLY.....Some of the questions are really great and get superb answers, but some of them, even the ones Yahoo chooses to showcase on the homepage are ridiculous. I refuse to believe we have become this ignorant as a society of humans.
