Home Theater System???

Hello, im thingking of making a system for less and better products, im thinking of using Divinci DV-606 Home Theater 1800 watt Surround Sound speakers, are these really good??? and i dont know what dvd/receiver to get, any ideas on how to make this work, is this a good idea??? thanks a lot-Mitch.
